Blaze Future Stars Program

The Hershey Blaze Track club began as a group of athletes who were dedicated to competing in the North American Hershey Track & Field Games which disbanded in 2014. As our club grew we also recognized there was a need to build teams that would carry on the legacy of the program where we were born. The Hershey Blaze Track Club has begun partnering with communities and recreation departments to establish local teams for kids ranging from 5-14 years old. Our developmental program now known as Blaze Future Stars begins in late March until the end of May. They are designed to provide youth an opportunity to focus the fundamentals of track and field in a fun environment. This session lasts between 6-8 weeks in length depending on the site and practices 1-2 times per week. Athletes will have a chance to sample all of the running, jumping and throwing events that are offered for their age group. These programs also allow kids to learn and train in their "home" community as well as compete within our Future Stars Meet Series. Youth wishing to compete competitively beyond their local team must also register through Hershey Blaze TC as our USATF club to obtain a national membership ID.
