For those considering Blaze Winter Training we wanted to share the proposed schedule. Please remember that Blaze Winter Training is not intended to be a season but a conditioning opportunity to get a jump start on the outdoor season and registering for USATF competition early. Notice that our focus will be to USATF meets and the Sparks program meets.
HBTC 2015 Winter Training Schedule (There may be some minor modifications for practices and additional meets through Sparks) *Practices & recommended meets are in bold UAG developmental meets are extra meet that you can choose to attend but register through HBTC. January 3, 2015- United Age Group Indoor Developmental Meet #2- Widener University January 4, 2015- First Practice at Lower Dauphin High School Track January 11, 2015- Practice at Lower Dauphin High School Track January 18, 2015- USATF Mid-Atlantic Indoor Championship- Widener University January 25, 2015- Practice at Shank Park- Hill Training or United Age Group Indoor Developmental Meet #3- Widener University February 1, 2015- Practice at Shank Park February 8, 2015- Practice at Lower Dauphin High School February 15, 2015- Practice at Lower Dauphin High School February 16, 2015- Armory Youth Championships presented by the NY Road Runners Club February 21-22, 2015- USATF Northeast Zone Championship (qualifier for nationals) March 1, 2015- United Age Group Indoor Championships- Lehigh University March 14-15, 2015- USATF Hershey National Youth Indoor Championships- Landover, MD Indoor competition has begun. If you have previously competed in a UAGTCA meet, there is a meet at Widener University on December 20th. Registration is open and will be received until Dec 15th. Please go to our registration link here. Athletes who have not previously registered for UAGTCA meets must be verified well in advance before entering these meets.
Also we will have winter training/ indoor registration on the 15th as well. To compete in future indoor meets you must be registered for 2015. Blaze Indoor registration will take place on December 15th & 17th at the Granada Gym in Hershey from 6-8pm. This will also be the time of the new Sparks- non competitive program kick off through our partnership with Derry Township Parks & Rec. Granada Gym address is
