Reminder that today is the last day to register for the Northeast Zone Indoor Championships in Houghton, NY. This IS the qualifier to the National USATF Indoor Championships sponsored by Hershey in Landover, MD
Today...TODAY...the Hershey Blaze have been nominated to host the 2015 USATF Region 2 XC Championships!!! We will find out shortly if we have been selected. Let's keep our fingers crosse3d Blaze family. This will be an exciting opportunity for our club and Central Pennsylvania if selected!
 Blaze XC Registration is now open and we will start on September 3rd. Practices will run on Mondays & Wednesdays at 5:30 pm at Shank Park. We will have several running opportunities posted including that's right...USATF National XC Junior Olympics will be in Myrtle Beach this fall. Also we will be hosting our first ever Blaze XC Invitational on October 18th!! More details to come...

The results for the USATF Region 2 Championships have been posted on the national website and all of our Hershey Blaze Athletes did an outstanding job posting some great performances- we are so proud of you! Congratulations to Ericka Jackson(9-10 girls) and Jaren Paynter(11-12 boys) who both qualified in the javelin and advanced on to the National USATF Junior Olympic Meet in Houston, TX!! Ericka placed 2nd with a throw of 65'2" and Jaren place 3rd with a throw of 107'2". These marks place both athletes among the top 20 performers in their respective age groups in the country. #GoBlaze!!!
To see the full results click here  The Hershey Blaze Track Club was well represented at the MidAtlantic USATF Junior Olympic Meet this weekend at Widener University. We had several kids achieve personal best and fist place finishes. Many of them will be advancing to the Region 2 Championships next month to compete against athletes from the New Jersey, Niagara and Three Rivers USATF Association in addition to our own MidAtlantic qualifiers. Congratulations to everyone who competed this weekend!!

 Reminder that the USATF MidAtlantic Junior Olympic Meet registration is still open. Click here to register your children. The meet will be held on June 21nd & 22nd at Widener University. All ages can register for this meet.
