Ava did it the last two years, it is super fun. It is a *real* triathlon, complete with "stageing areas", but on a small scale, with tons of help and supervision. It is not overwhelming for the kids, and is a really great way for the kids to learn how a triathlon works. You do not have to go to the "clinics" - I can tell you what they teach in 5 minutes if you get there a little early on the day of. You also don't have to pick up race packets until that day.
